Place masking tape on the Trike body in the area of the Trike saddlebag upper bracket.

For the classic not there is more to disassemble. First there is a little cover-plate plastic to remove 4 bolts. After to remove the mudguard for the classic that is I had to unscrew 6 bolts.
4 underneath and 2 sideways leftright at the light small bolts. To assemble you will have to push and pull a bit to get everything back in place. The saddlebags are attached to the bike via two metal plates.
